- He has consulted for Vodafone, Citibank, IBM, Rio Tinto, Singapore Power, Australian Treasury, GIO Australia, Ericsson UK, Telstra, Australian Tax Office, Singapore and US Governments, the World Bank and large Asian banks.
- Zafar holds a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Computer Science.
